The visiting team has won all four games in this World Series. That’s pretty unusual, especially considering the Nationals had won 13 of their previous 14 home games dating to September 15 and similarly, the Astros were 15-5 at home since September 5.
But that’s baseball! Always surprising us. The last time the visiting team won the first four games of any World Series was 1996, when the Braves won the first two games at Yankee Stadium and the Yankees won the next two in Atlanta. New York continued on to win the next two and take that World Series.
The weather’s supposed to be great for baseball, clear skies and temperatures in the 60s or low 70s.
Here’s all the info you’ll need for tonight’s game.

Gerrit Cole (Astros) vs. Joe Ross (Nationals)
Joe Ross? Max Scherzer was supposed to start this game. Then this happened:
Max Scherzer had issues with his upper back and neck yesterday. Today, he woke up with the pain much worse, leaving him unable to pitch tonight. Joe Ross will pitch today.— Jared Diamond (@jareddiamond) October 27, 2019
Well, in theory this puts the Nats at a disadvantage. But sometimes in a World Series, guys like this step up. We’ll find out soon.
