Happy Thanksgiving!

Enjoy your Turkey Day!

It’s Thanksgiving Day and thus it should be a quiet day in the baseball world.

I wish all of you Happy Thanksgiving and an enjoyable day with friends and family, wherever you are celebrating the holiday.

While the 2019 Cubs season didn’t end the way we wanted it to, we can still give thanks for several things we have as Cubs fans:

  • A renovated and restored Wrigley Field, which is (in my opinion) the best ballpark in the major leagues.
  • A World Series championship that isn’t over a century old and that we can still remember and savor.
  • A roster, though it missed the postseason in 2019, still filled with quite a number of talented players, and a front office dedicated to getting back to being a World Series contender.
  • Last but not least, this vibrant community of Cubs fans. Thanks to all of you for making BCB a great place to share Cubs baseball.

Happy Thanksgiving from me. Enjoy your day!
