The Cubs are scheduled for 4 ESPN Sunday Night Baseball dates before the All-Star break

The North Siders are always a popular draw for the Worldwide Leader.

Last month, it was announced that the Cubs/Brewers game in Milwaukee Sunday, March 29 would be ESPN’s first Sunday Night Baseball broadcast of the 2020 season.

Monday, the network announced most of its schedule through early July and the Cubs will be involved in three other SNB dates before the All-Star break:

  • Sunday, April 12 at Wrigley Field against the Cardinals
  • Sunday, June 21 at Wrigley Field against the Red Sox
  • Sunday, June 28 in New York against the Yankees

Teams are limited to six Sunday Night dates per season, so expect to hear of two more Cubs games added to those four sometime later in the season. Other dates that could be chosen include July 26 vs. the Cardinals in St. Louis, August 2 vs. the Brewers at Wrigley Field, August 9 vs. the Brewers in Milwaukee, August 23 vs. the Cardinals at Wrigley Field, August 30 vs. the Mets at New York and September 13 vs. the Cardinals at St. Louis.

Here’s the schedule of national games (including the special Thursday night second-half opener July 16) announced by ESPN Monday. Times as noted below are Eastern.
