The Cubs will have 68 players in spring camp when it opens Tuesday, the entire 40-man roster (and Addison Russell, currently on the restricted list) plus 27 non-roster invitees, as announced Wednesday afternoon. Today I present my annual numerical list of all players and members of the coaching staff who’ll appear in camp.

Brad Brach is not included here, as his signing has not yet been officially announced. UPDATE: Brach officially signed February 11 and he’s been added to the list.

As always, I’ve included the Cubs’ retired numbers so you can see the complete numerical progression, as well as the coaching staff. Non-roster players in italics.

Lastly, I’d like to take a moment for a bit of self-promotion, if you’ll indulge me. If you still don’t have the latest edition of “Cubs By The Numbers” (updated through 2015), here’s your link to buy one!

Pitchers and catchers have their first workout in just four days and the first spring game is two weeks from today, Saturday, February 23 at Sloan Park, when the Cubs will take on the Brewers.
