Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cubs fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

Once again this week, we asked two questions of BCB readers who signed up to participate in SB Nation’s FanPulse. The first, about confidence in the team’s direction, shows your confidence in the team dropping, not surprising after a 3-8 start:

The exact number is 52 percent, just over half of fans surveyed. We also asked who’s most to blame for the rough start. The response is interesting:

That’s 58 percent for the bullpen, 32 percent for Theo, 10 percent for the rotation... and zero for Joe Maddon. Maddon still has an 80 percent confidence rating per the FanPulse survey, something I’d agree with. This isn’t Joe’s fault... he’s just using the pieces he was given. Hopefully, those pieces begin to produce better, and soon.

Lastly, a question was asked of all fans participating in FanPulse for all MLB teams:

I agree with this one. Bat flips are fun. And remember, you can still sign up to participate at the link at the top of this post.
