Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cubs fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

Once again this week, we asked two questions of BCB readers who signed up to participate in SB Nation’s FanPulse. The key question asked was about Cubs manager Joe Maddon:

Despite the team’s rough start, FanPulse members were overwhelmingly still in approval of the job Joe is doing. I concur with this result.

It wasn’t quite the same regarding confidence in the team’s direction. Just 63 percent of people responding to the FanPulse survey said they were confident, 37 percent said “no.” This is down considerably from the first week’s survey, where 83 percent of respondents said they were confident in the Cubs’ direction.

Crazy what a 1-3 start can do, right? This team is being held to a high standard. Hopefully, a few wins before next week’s survey will increase confidence.

Remember, you can still sign up to participate at the link at the top of this post.
