The Myrtle Beach Pelicans were decoyed by the Down East Wood Ducks (Rangers), 7-4.

The loss went to Tyler Peyton, who allowed three runs in the top of the ninth. He also allowed an inherited runner in the eighth inning to score as well. The final line on Peyton was three runs, one earned run, on three hits over two innings of relief. Peyton did not walk or strike anyone out.

Center fielder Jimmy Herron hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, his second on the season. Herron went 1 for 3 with a walk.

DH Tyler Payne was 2 for 4 with one run batted in.
