The Cubs have a ton of top quality talent taking the team day-after-day. From the likes of Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, and Javier Baez, to the newly-extended David Bote, you can expect some flash and dazzle when you head to Wrigley to take in a game.
While the current 2019 season hasn’t started as well as we’d hoped, there are still a tremendous number of good players on the team. But when your club is in a slump, it can often make you think: if only we had that ONE player. That former fan favorite (or maybe just someone you loved irrationally) who could turn things around for the team.
With that in mind we ask you: if you could bring back ANY former Cubs player (doesn’t need to be an active player, even, could be anyone), who would you pull from the current roster and which former player would you slot in? You also need to explain why you made this choice.
Head over to the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, then bring back the ghosts of seasons past.
Shoutout to Mr. OnoGrinz for taking up the prompt from last week and writing “Bold Predictions: Five for Nineteen.”
