Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cubs fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
The Cubs won seven straight, lost a tough one Monday and since have begun another winning streak that’s reached three.
As a result, your confidence in the Cubs right now is at its highest point of the season, 92 percent of those participating in the SB Nation FanPulse poll said they were confident in the way the team is heading:

Joe Maddon’s confidence rating is also still very high, at 94 percent for the third straight week. Joe’s been doing a good job despite injuries and underperformance by some members of the pitching staff.
FanPulse members were also asked a general baseball question this week, about teams that are off to a “surprising” start (whether that is a good or bad surprise) and which team they thought would be most likely to continue that “surprise”:

The Rays got my vote in this poll. I think they’re for real. It’d be fun for the Cubs to meet Joe Maddon’s old team in the World Series, wouldn’t it?
