The Cubs’ last two Sunday games at Wrigley Field were carried by ESPN for their Sunday Night Baseball package.
And, the game this Sunday in Washington will also be on the Worldwide Leader, at 6 p.m. CT.
Friday, it was announced that one more Cubs game will be featured on SNB:
Cubs/Cards June 9 will be a Sunday Night game on ESPN
— Jesse Rogers (@ESPNChiCubs) May 17, 2019
This game was listed as “TBD” on original schedules. If you are a season-ticket holder or have bought mobile tickets through the MLB Ballpark app, the game time of 6:05 p.m. CT already is showing up on the app.
The Cubs have two other upcoming Sunday night games that will be on ESPN: June 16 against the Dodgers in Los Angeles, and the Little League Classic, August 18 against the Pirates at Williamsport, Pennsylvania. That maxes out the Cubs for Sunday night appearances for 2019 with six. One other game listed as “TBD” on the original schedule, Sunday, September 22 vs. the Cardinals at Wrigley Field, is now shown as a 1:20 p.m. CT start.
