The Cubs are on a roll and everyone still loves Joe Maddon

Here are the results of our Week 6 SB Nation FanPulse poll.

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cubs fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

The Cubs head into a 10-game homestand beginning Friday on a four-game winning streak and having won 11 of their last 14.

As you can imagine, that has resulted in high ratings in our FanPulse polls for both confidence in the team and for manager Joe Maddon:

That’s a 94 percent approval rating for Maddon, the same as Week 5. Confidence in the Cubs is at 84 percent, a season high.

We also asked a general baseball question of FanPulse readers across the network, about top prospect, now callup, Vladimir Guerrero Jr.:

I agree with the plurality of voters here. Vladdy is good, and likely will be a star. But he is still 20 years old, and a 5+ WAR season seems unlikely.

I’m sure Blue Jays fans would love for us to be wrong.
