Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cubs fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
MLB’s draft begins a week from Monday, June 3, and so this week’s SB Nation FanPulse questions revolved around the draft. Your votes indicate high confidence in Cubs President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein to make the right choice (the Cubs have the 27th overall pick in the first round):

There was also a more general question asked about the type of player fans would like to see their team choose. This was asked of fans of all teams:

This is, in fact, the type of player Theo has focused on in the draft, with generally good results. Four straight hitters were chosen, three from college, one out of high school (Albert Almora Jr., Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber and Ian Happ), and the first three have all become at least good major league players.
The two questions asked every week, about confidence in Joe Maddon and in the team in general, continued to give high confidence in both. Maddon, who polled 100 percent a week ago, stands at 98 percent, and for the second straight week, you voted a 95 percent confidence rating in the team in general.
