Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cubs fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
This week’s question asked of all SB Nation FanPulse members was about Commissioner Rob Manfred, and frankly, I am surprised at this result:

Given how I feel — and how many of you here feel — I’d think that if the question were asked only of BCB readers, the “yes” vote would be much lower than that. Manfred’s performance as Commissioner makes me miss Bud Selig, and that’s saying something.
On a happier note, your approval rating of Joe Maddon has risen since the last survey results:

93 percent of BCB voters approve of Joe’s performance — as of the date of the survey, Monday. That’s up from 90 percent last week. Would it be lower if the last two games were included? I would hope not, because those losses weren’t Joe’s fault.
Lastly, confidence in the team overall is up to 89 percent, a large increase over the 70 percent in the previous survey. Winning five of six on a homestand will do that for you.
