Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cubs fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
This week’s key question in the SB Nation FanPulse survey was about the draft, and how all of you felt about the Cubs’ No. 1 pick, Ryan Jensen from Fresno State.
You gave this pick a huge thumbs up:

Jensen is not yet signed, but I’m reasonably certain the Cubs will bring him into the fold and have him throw a few innings either with the Arizona Rookie League Cubs, or at Eugene, and then shut him down for the summer.
As for our weekly questions, fan confidence in the team as a whole continued to be low at 70 percent, down from 73 percent the previous week. (Remember that this survey was done before the Cubs won four out of the first five in the homestand. I’d guess this number will be higher next week.) Approval of Joe Maddon as manager ticked up by one percent over last week, 90 percent compared to 89.
This week’s national question asked of fans of all 30 teams was in regards to nets at ballparks:

Perhaps we’re just a bit more sensitive to this as Cubs fans because of the recent incident in Houston involving Albert Almora Jr., but I’m a bit surprised to not see the “yes” vote there at “only” 60 percent.
