Ben Zobrist’s next rehab stop: Myrtle Beach

The Cubs and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans announced Tuesday that Ben Zobrist would continue his journey back to the major leagues with the Advanced-A team. Zobrist is scheduled to be with the Pelicans beginning Thursday, August 8, starting in the series finale against the Winston-Salem Dash and continuing into the first two games of their series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

All of those games will be at Myrtle Beach, at their ballpark TicketReturn.com Field.

After that, I assume the Cubs and Zobrist will sit down and evaluate his performance and what comes next.

Both Thursday and Friday’s games will start at 7:05 p.m. ET at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, while Saturday’s game will begin at 6:05 p.m. ET Tickets are available at myrtlebeachpelicans.com or over the phone at 843-918-6000.
