The Ryne Sandberg Hall of Fame bobblehead

New, comments

Now this is cool.

Tuesday, I told you about my trip to the Bobblehead Museum in Milwaukee. Well worth your time if you’re in the area.

Today, I want to tell you about a special bobblehead created by FOCO to honor several Hall of Fame players. One of those is Cubs second baseman Ryne Sandberg, whose bobblehead is depicted at the top of this post.

The Hall of Famers are depicted posing on a golden wood-textured base with a 3D backdrop featuring a miniature replica of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Each player is leaning on a baseball bat with a National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum 3D logo.

The Sandberg bobblehead is approximately nine inches tall, quite a bit larger than the usual giveaway bobblehead, and with the added detail at the bottom, it’s one of the best-quality bobbleheads I’ve seen.

“We are very excited to highlight the careers of some of the best to play the game of baseball with ‘The Hall of Fame’ series,” said Matthew Katz, Senior Licensing Manager at FOCO. “We think MLB fans and collectors alike will be eager to add their favorite Hall of Famers to their collections.”

Here’s a larger version of the photo at the top of this post:

If you’re a Ryne Sandberg fan — and who here isn’t? — and a collector of bobbleheads, this is one you’ll certainly want in your collection. You can order one here. FOCO also has a line of Cubs Game of Thrones bobbleheads. If you’re a fan of the team and the show, check them out. Full disclosure, the folks at FOCO sent me the Sandberg bobblehead and the Game of Thrones collection.
