It was a rollercoaster year. What did we learn?

The 2019 regular season comes to an end on Sunday, and for the Cubs it’s the end of the line. There will be no postseason for the team, though the fought and clawed to the bitter end — through injury for some — in hopes of making it back to October baseball.

But still, even in a season that ends in September, there are always things we can learn. With the Cubs, it was young stars shifting to team veterans, or perhaps pitchers who are coming back from injury and showing signs of meeting their potential. It’s future All-Stars, and some unexpected trade deadline pickups.

With this, the last regular FanPost prompt of the season (look forward to a “Best of the Best” post next week), we want you to tell us what you saw this season, and what hopes (or fears) it gives you going into to 2020.

Head over to the FanPost section, select New FanPost on the left, and tell use what lessons 2019 taught you.
