As we approach the end of the regular season it is a great time to look back and reflect on all the months of play we have witnessed over the 2019 MLB campaign. For the Cubs, this has been an roller coaster of a run, filled with some truly amazing plays and players. Injuries were suffered, new additions were made mid-season, and as a result, the team in September looks a lot different than we might have expected during those early April days.
With this week’s FanPost prompt, I want us all to look back over the year and be honest about our expectations, and then look at who exceeded them. Or perhaps who failed to meet them. The goal of this post is to say which player surprised us most this year, either for better or worse.
Head over the the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, then tell us who surprised you and why.
