This week's subject is cover songs. They were once the rule -- bands didn't regularly write their own material, and the likes of Three Dog Night, interpreters instead of songsmiths, were the rule rather than the exception (as Three Dog Night were during their tenure).

Here we're specifically looking for songs in a different style or genre than the original. But we're also looking for the best possible version (other than the original) and those two conceptions aren't always congruent.

The bottom line is to entertain us.

I ask you to limit selections to 15 so that everyone can play that wants to, and it would be preferable to post links to videos (as not everyone uses Spotify or the equivalent) featuring the material.
