2020 ALCS Game 2: Astros vs. Rays and 2020 NLCS Game 1: Braves vs. Dodgers

Two games today!

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The first game of the Braves/Dodgers series will have a terrific pitching matchup, Max Fried vs. Walker Buehler.

Unfortunately, after that the Braves don’t really have the starters to match up with the other Dodger hurlers, Clayton Kershaw, Julio Urias, Dustin May, etc.

On the other hand, in the five postseason games the Braves have played they’ve thrown four shutouts. So they’re doing something right. Rookie Ian Anderson doesn’t have much of a track record, yet, but so far he’s looked really good.

Both these teams have several outstanding hitters, but with that kind of pitching these games could all be low-scoring.

I’d really like to see the Braves win this series, just because the Dodgers have been so dominant all year. But LA is on a mission, and they’ll win this series in seven games.

Here’s all the info you’ll need for today’s games.
