Cubs manager David Ross, given an extra 24 hours to think about possibly changing the lineup he posted for Game 2, did not do that after yesterday’s rainout. Here’s today’s lineup:

I do find it interesting that Kris Bryant, who batted lower than third just three times this season, will hit fifth for Game 2, with Willson Contreras and Kyle Schwarber ahead of him. Perhaps this will give KB more chances to drive in runs.
I also like the start of David Bote at second base. While Jason Kipnis has been reasonably productive this year, Bote might give the Cubs a better chance at hitting for power.
And, of course, Victor Caratini is making his usual personal-catcher start for Yu Darvish.
Fun postseason fact:
Teams that have out-homered their opponents this postseason so far are ... 10-0 in those games.

The Cubs homered once Wednesday, the Marlins twice. Whether or not the Cubs outhomer Miami today, we’re all hoping for a victory and a Game 3 Saturday.
A full preview of today’s Game 2 will post at 11 a.m. CT.
