Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s not likely to be like any Thanksgiving you’ve had before.

The year 2020 has been one of great upheaval and change, mostly for the worse.

That’s not something I really have to tell you, as you’ve been living it since March. So have we all.

Thanksgiving 2020 is probably different for you and your family than any you’ve previously known. Travel has been discouraged to try to stop the spread of COVID-19, currently spiking in most of the USA, and so you are likely not with the family and friends you normally celebrate the holiday with.

I hope this holiday finds you in good health. This is something everyone can be thankful for, every day of every year.

Like you, I’m hopeful that 2021 will bring better times for everyone across the world, and that we can resume our normal activities, including Cubs baseball, sometime during the year to come.

In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family and friends. Be safe on this holiday weekend.
