The work week begins with an away game.

Rick Scuteri-USA TODAY Sports

I’m not going to this game either; my first spring game will be Tuesday at Sloan Park when the Cubs face the Rockies. The weather for baseball today is glorious: sunny with temps in the low 70s.

I don’t have a lot more to say about today’s game, so let’s get right to today’s particulars. The key information you’re looking for — where and how to find the broadcast for today — is below.

Cubs lineup:

Bryant 3B, Rizzo 1B, Baez SS, Souza RF, Almora CF, Bote 2B, Phegley C, Garcia DH, Miller LF

Mariners lineup:

Fraley LF, Nola C, Seager 3B, Wisdom 1B, Gonzalez RF, Lopes 2B, Filia DH, Moore SS, Siri CF

Yes, that’s former Cub (and Rockie) Carlos Gonzalez in right field for Seattle today. Also, if you’re at the game and sitting on the berm, make sure you yell “Hey Siri!” at the Mariners center fielder.

Adbert Alzolay will start for the Cubs. Also scheduled for the Cubs today: Dan Winkler, Ryan Tepera, Casey Sadler, Rowan Wick, Brock Stewart and Manuel Rodriguez. Winkler and Tepera, in particular, are candidates for the Iowa Shuttle, as both have options remaining.

Marco Gonzales will go for the Mariners. Mariners relievers: Nick Margevicius, former Cub Carl Edwards Jr., Zac Grotz, Yohan Ramirez, Aaron Fletcher and Wyatt Mills.

Today’s game is on the Marquee Network. Here is a complete channel guide for all the providers currently signed up with Marquee. Note that it is possible some of these channels might not be up and running right away. This is new to all of us and I would anticipate glitches. Hopefully it all gets squared away by Opening Day, including a Marquee deal with Comcast.

Sunday’s glitch with Marquee not available on MLB.TV should be rectified today — note on the Mediacenter link below that Marquee (shown as “MSN”) is listed.

Audio today will be via the Mariners radio station ESPN 710 in Seattle. Click on the Mediacenter link below for a link to the audiocast.

MLB.com Gameday

Please note that during spring training, Gameday doesn’t usually go pitch-by-pitch as it does during the regular season — usually, it will update after each at-bat.

Here is the complete MLB.com Mediacenter for today.

Please visit our SB Nation Mariners site Lookout Landing. If you do go there to interact with Mariners fans, please be respectful, abide by their individual site rules and serve as a good representation of Cub fans in general and BCB in particular.

For spring-training games, we’ll have a first-pitch thread at five minutes to game time and one overflow thread, 90 minutes after game time (because I know how you all like overflow threads!). For today, that will be 2 p.m. CT and 3:30 p.m. CT.

These threads will not post individually onto the front page; instead, you can find links to them in the box marked ”Chicago Cubs Game Threads” at the bottom of the front page. There will also be a StoryStream on the front page with all the game thread links, as well as the recap after the game is over. The pitcher boxes and regular-season stats will return on Opening Day.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
