In late February, I wrote that it appeared Yu Darvish was on target to start Opening Day, March 26 in Milwaukee.
Wednesday, we learned that it will be either Darvish or Kyle Hendricks:
Ross hasn’t named his Opening Day starter, but says it will be Yu Darvish or Kyle Hendricks.

Darvish is scheduled to start tonight against the Padres at Sloan Park.
Hendricks, who is having a fantastic spring in which he’s looked lights-out in all three of his outings, should next take the mound Friday against the White Sox in Glendale. Jon Lester will go tomorrow against the Dodgers.
Personally, I am a big fan of Hendricks and would be fine with that, but I think Darvish has earned the nod. Manager David Ross could always rearrange the order of his starters before Opening Day.
Either way, the Cubs will have a solid starting pitcher on the mound against the Brewers when the 2020 season opens.
Who do you think should start the opener? Darvish or Hendricks?
