I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like I’ve aged about 14 years since spring training and Opening Day were postponed. I’ve started looking up old games and clips on YouTube just to fill the time. I suspect we’re all starting to get a bit stir-crazy and just need a distraction.
Typically this is the time of year we start doing regular FanPost Friday prompts, and we’ll still be doing that, but with the season on hiatus we’re going to need to adjust our ideas somewhat.
Usually our first question of the year would be to make some bold Cubs predictions for the coming season. Obviously, since we have no idea when the season will start, we’re mostly just reading rumors and gossip to feel like things are still happening.
So with that in mind, our first FPF of the year asks you the question: What are your boldest predictions for the whole 2020 season? 81 games? 60? None at all? Will rosters need to expand? Will baseball be played into November? (that would make for some MIGHTY cold games in Chicago)
Plenty of opportunities to have some fun with your vision for 2020, so head over to the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, and map out these uncharted waters.
