There’s a cool new Javier Baez bobblehead

I love bobbleheads. This one is fun.

The folks at the Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum (which you really should visit if you’re in Milwaukee) have unveiled an officially licensed, limited- edition bobblehead featuring Chicago Cubs star shortstop Javier Baez riding a cub. This is the newest addition to their popular Riding Bobblehead Series and comes out as Javy and the Cubs are ramping up preparations for the 2020 regular season. The bobbleheads are being produced for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum by FOCO, an official licensee and manufacturer of Chicago Cubs and MLB merchandise.

Javy smiles in his pose atop the ferocious-looking Cub, holding a bat and wearing the Cubs home pinstripe uniform. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,020, and they are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. The bobbleheads are in production with expected delivery in May. They are $40 plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

”We’re always thinking of ideas for unique and fun new bobbleheads and the riding bobbleheads have been some of the most popular over the last year,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “With Javy being one of the brightest young stars in baseball, we’re excited to add him to the lineup for Cubs fans to add to their collection.”

I thought this one was fun and you’d all enjoy knowing about it. Full disclosure, the Bobblehead Museum folks are sending me one of these. Here’s a short video of the bobblehead... bobbling:
