2020 Cubs intrasquad game, Tuesday 7/14, 6 p.m. CT

Hey! It’s baseball! On TV!

Patrick Gorski-USA TODAY Sports

There will be baseball!

After a fashion, anyway.

The Cubs have been playing intrasquad games throughout their time at Summer Camp at Wrigley Field.

Tonight, they will be televising said intrasquad game, beginning at 6 p.m. CT. At this writing we don’t have any information on lineups or pitchers, so you’ll have to pick up that info as you go along.

Also, the game is being televised on Marquee Sports Network. As of the time I wrote this post, this game was not listed on MLB.TV’s list of intrasquad games for today. So it’s likely only viewable if your cable/satellite carrier has signed a deal with Marquee, which at the present time covers only about 40 percent of the Cubs market territory.

So if you can watch this game, great! Here’s a game thread for you. If not — hopefully Marquee and Comcast come to a deal before July 24. That would cover more than 90 percent of the Cubs market. Once regular season baseball begins, games should be available out-of-market on MLB.TV.

Enjoy, and discuss amongst yourselves.
