Back when I was playing in bands, we used to sneak our latest tracks into the mixes at parties. We figured that, if nobody noticed, we were good. It was like that with Beth Mowins the other day. Long overdue for sure, and let’s hope for more. The status quo is past the expiration date.
There was baseball Monday afternoon as the Cubs faced the Angels, allowing me to feature that excellent early Genesis track. Got to see Mike Trout play — I’m such a National League dude that I rarely see him. I hear he’s decent. And our friend Dexter was there too. Nice kicks, Mr Fowler.
Spring Training is winding down, with a few roster decisions still open-casket. No telling if anyone will shuffle off to Buffalo but that game probably didn’t help anyone. Ouch!
