According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, 48 percent of Cubs fans are confident the team is headed in the right direction. That’s down from 69 percent last week and 68 percent the week before.

This should be noted for a comparison point:
One of these teams is a half game out of first place. The other is on pace to win 50 games. @bleedcubbieblue @CamdenChat @SBNationMLB @SBNation pic.twitter.com/FYWl7Z97Fc

The specific numbers: Orioles 67 percent, Cubs 48 percent. Our own Deputy Mayor of Rush Street has the likely answer:
If I was an Oriole fan, I'd be pretty darn confident that the team was going to continue to stink for the foreseeable future.

Can’t really argue with that.
With Father’s Day coming last Sunday, the most recent Reacts survey contained some questions about MLB fathers and sons. There are a number of second-generation MLB players in the league right now and some have already emerged as stars. While not on the field together, there are some father/son duos that make up a dominating pair.
Fans in the most recent survey believe Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and his Hall of Fame father Vladimir Guerrero Sr. are the best father-son duo with one player currently active, taking 79 percent of the vote. Fernando Tatis Jr. and his dad finished in a distant second with 12 percent.

Despite being in just his third season, Tatis Jr. has undoubtedly stepped out of his father’s shadow and stands as a star in his own right. 81 percent of fans in the Reacts survey believe the San Diego Padres shortstop will have a better career than his dad.
Just over a quarter of fans surveyed believe Vlad Jr. will be better than his dad — a Hall of Famer! —a with slightly under a quarter believing the same about his teammate Bo Bichette.
