A number of you have noticed that certain pre- and post-game shows for various teams have been viewable through the national online service MLB.TV over the course of this season.
Now, you can watch Marquee Sports Network’s pre- and post-game Cubs coverage for every game via that service. MLB.TV made it official Tuesday:
Select team Pregame and Postgame shows are now available on #MLBTV. Tune in before and after each game to watch. Blackout and other restrictions apply.

Marquee’s pre-game coverage generally begins about an hour before game time, and their post-game show, similarly, runs for about an hour after the game. If you have seen a Cubs pre- or post-game show before this week, Marquee’s communications manager Alex Wilcox told me that the service was rolling them out earlier to test things out, so it wasn’t your imagination.
As you can see from the tweet above, nine other teams in addition to the Cubs are having their pre- and post-game shows from their RSNs available worldwide on MLB.TV, so it might be worth checking them out, especially when the Cubs are facing those teams. Two of the Cubs’ NL Central rivals, the Cardinals and Reds, are included in this rollout.
Kudos to MLB.TV for giving out-of-market fans more team coverage.
