Here at CUB TRACKS NEWS AND NOTES™, we have news for you. These NooCubs are gonna lose a LOT of games. They’re playing hard, though, with 2022 roster spots available and kids pushing hard from the minor leagues. I want MiLB.tv on Roku.

I’ve gotten to where I can watch for development purposes, though my resentment at the fans being played hasn’t lessened. So I want to see all the kids. But pitching Jake is a good way to get a better draft pick. So it’s a good thing?
Jake Arrieta had a 2.57 ERA through five starts back on April 25. In 15 turns since that point, he has an 8.95 ERA with a .367/.421/.645 opponents' slash line and fewer than 4 IP per start.

As always, * means autoplay on, or annoying ads, or both (directions to remove for Firefox and Chrome). {$} means paywall. {$} means limited views. Italics are often used on this page as sarcasm font. (In the comments section, use @ before and after your remarks @ to produce sarcasm font. In the text body. It doesn’t work in the headlines.
And just like that, we already have next year’s hashtag…
