Today is a big day for four incredible men associated with baseball. Two have been waiting almost two years for the moment, as the delayed Hall of Fame ceremony put a pause on their inductions. But today, Derek Jeter, Larry Walker, Marvin Miller, and Ted Simmons will all be inducted into the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.

Miller, who passed in 2012, helped turn the MLB Players Union into a strong group able of defending their rights, and was voted in by the Veterans Committee, as was Simmons, whi is now 72. Jeter and Walker were the 2020 inductees selected by votes from the active BBWAA members eligible to cast a ballot.

It’s a big moment for the players, especially, who will get to bask in the moment of recognition for their accomplishments. The ceremony will begin at 12:30 CT and air on MLB Network.
