Cubs roster move: Seiya Suzuki to injured list, Brandon Hughes recalled

The Cub outfielder has an injured finger.

Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki was injured last Thursday in Cincinnati when he slid awkwarkdly into second base.

Before today's second game between the Cubs and Brewers, the Cubs placed Suzuki on the 10-day injured list and recalled lefthander Brandon Hughes.

To make room on the 40-man roster for Hughes, righthander Robert Gsellman was designated for assignment.
