One series will end today. The other might go to a Game 7.

Thanks to the Rangers defeating the Astros Sunday night, we have one more 2023 day on which there’s more than one baseball game.

Adolis Garcia, who was involved in controversy when he was hit by a pitch after homering in Game 5, hit a grand slam Sunday to put that game out of reach. The ALCS still has not had a win by the home team, and now tonight’s game is for a World Series berth.

Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks will try to force a Game 7 in the NLCS. We have not had two seven-game LCS since 2020, and not in a 162-game season since 2004.

Here’s all the info you’ll need for today’s games.

4:07 p.m. CT: D-backs at Phillies. Phillies lead series 3-2.

Pitching matchup: Merrill Kelly, RHP vs. Aaron Nola, RHP Gameday

TV: TBS. Announcers: Brian Anderson, Ron Darling, Jeff Francoeur and Matt Winer.

7:03 p.m. CT: Rangers at Astros. Series tied 3-3.

Pitching matchup: Max Scherzer, RHP vs. Cristian Javier, RHP Gameday

TV: FS1. Announcers: Joe Davis, John Smoltz, Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci.

This is the only thread for today’s LCS games. Enjoy, and discuss amongst yourselves.
