The 2023 Cubs are a very good baseball team - and I've got ALL the numbers to back it up!

As things stand before gameplay on May 12, here are all the team stats on BBREF/Stathead (not including stats that teams have no control over like games played). Anything listed in bold are where Cubs rank in the top 10 across all of baseball.

To me, this team is too good in too many ways to have a losing record. Once our luck batting with runners in scoring position changes and we STOP being #30 in runners LOB, this team is going to do some really good things this season.
