SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — For the first time, we have views of the plaza building with lights on inside.
BCB’s David Sameshima took these photos Wednesday evening, and he told me the lights had actually been on in the interior of the building for a couple of weeks, but this was the first opportunity he had to photograph them.
The team is supposed to move its offices from a building on Clark Street just north of Waveland into the plaza building sometime around Opening Day, and these photos show that the interior is being prepared for that move and nearly ready.
The last few photos of this set show the ballpark at night, with lights on behind some of the tarps that have covered up Wrigley Field, especially on the Addison Street side.
One month from today Wrigley Field will host its first game of the 2017 season when the Cubs meet the Dodgers. We hope to have more photos of the project over the weekend or early next week.
